EXTERNAL LEARNING AUSTRALIA –
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read this agreement carefully before accessing or using the information and services available through the externallearning.com.au website (“Site”).
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions within the site and handbook. External Learning Australia may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting the modified agreement on the Site.
External Learning Australia Sample Course Price structure:
• Certificate II Cost: $1500.00
• Certificate III Cost: $2000.00
• Certificate IV Cost: $2500.00
• Diploma Cost: $3000.00
• Advanced Diploma Cost: $5500.00
Fees and Payments
External Learning Australia will ensure that fees paid in advance of course delivery shall be protected by having such funds entered into External Learning Australia’s accounts as “Unearned Income,” which may not be drawn upon until such time as delivery has commenced.
External Learning Australia has a Set Fee Structure for all of its training courses which consists of a Maximum of $1000.00 Enrolment and a $500.00 commencement fee, allowing the final amount to be paid at completion.
Certificate II in Hospitality = $1000.00 enrolment fee and a $500.00 commencement fee leaving a remaining $1000.00 at completion.
Note: Fees may be shown in AUD$, AU$, A$, All transactions are processed in Australian dollars.
Enrolment and Payment Process
Our process is:
1. Once we receive your payment, you will then be sent a link via email for enrolment and course materials.
2. We will issue your enrolment and provide you with a unique user name and password to our online system and access to the FAQ page so you can access your Exams and learner guides.
2. If you are attending a Face to Face qualification other than first aid, your Trainer will email you the Wednesday before your course confirming the venue and the start time.
PLEASE NOTE: Sometimes our emails find their way into Learners Junk mail files. We have no control over this so please check before you call us.
If you wish to enrol within 2 working days of a Face to Face course commencing other than first aid, you must call our office 1300 594 230 prior to sending the enrolment form. They will ensure your enrolment is fast tracked through the system.
SPECIAL NOTE: Our Intensive courses have pre course work and you must allow yourself time to complete this prior to attending on the first day otherwise you will not be able to complete in the allocated time, thus you will have work to do at home after the course.
*In the event of a legal dispute, any legal proceedings will herby be agreed by both parties, resolved in the state of the head office for Freedom Institute Australia. Currently the head office is South Australia.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilised and other similar information.

External Learning Australia may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:
– To improve customer service
Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
– To personalise user experience
We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
– To process payments
We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
– To run a promotion, contest, survey or other Site feature
To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.
– To send periodic emails
We may use the email address to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures. Our Site is also in compliance with PCI vulnerability standards in order to create as secure of an environment as possible for Users.
Sharing your personal information
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies.
Your acceptance of these terms
